I believe creativity is part of being human.
Long before we have words, we communicate through movement, color, play, and imagination. Somewhere along the way, many of us begin believing we aren’t creative enough. I don’t believe that.
As a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience, I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, motherhood, emotional overwhelm, and life’s many transitions. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where healing can unfold through creativity, conversation, and genuine connection.
You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to benefit from art therapy. This work has never been about creating perfect artwork—it’s about expressing what words cannot, making sense of difficult experiences, building emotional resilience, and reconnecting with yourself. Whether we use watercolor, collage, clay, journaling, or simply conversation, we’ll find an approach that feels meaningful for you.
I also integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), blending practical skills with the creative process to support lasting growth.
My approach is collaborative, gentle, and deeply curious because I believe there is no one “right” way to heal. Together, we’ll discover what works best for your unique journey.
At the heart of my work is one simple belief:
Art heals.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or returning to creativity after years away, you are welcome here. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your creativity, your resilience, and yourself.
