My passion as a mental health counselor lies in providing support to families, with a special focus on nurturing the well-being of children. Child development holds a special place in my heart as I firmly believe that these formative stages shape a person's identity. I am committed to creating safe and nurturing environments for children, aiming to build securely attached relationships and supporting their growth into emotionally healthy individuals. My current training emphasizes attachment science and is trauma-informed.
As a family-oriented individual, I am empathetic towards clients who may be facing challenges in their relationships with loved ones. In my practice, I focus on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their relationships with effective communication strategies through a neurodiversity affirming lens. Understanding and respecting diverse communication styles and information processing methods is vital for fostering healthy connections. Witnessing my clients' progress, even in small increments, brings me immense joy and satisfaction.
I deeply value the courage and vulnerability displayed by my clients when they share their personal stories during counseling sessions. Witnessing their bravery motivates me to provide unwavering support, guiding them towards achieving their therapeutic goals. Having experienced the transformative power of therapy during my lowest moments, I understand the importance of having an ally to combat life’s challenges during our darkest times. My ultimate goal is to be the guiding light that helps my clients emerge stronger, happier, and more self-aware.
