Elizabeth Berry, LPC

Our perspectives and worldview are shaped by our experiences and how we process those experiences, which sometimes leads to stress in our intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. I believe in creating a safe therapeutic environment to increase self-awareness, promote relaxation and improve self-regulation in the process of identifying unhelpful thought patterns and restructuring belief systems. I believe in an individual’s inherent desire to set goals, which provides the framework to navigate through one’s personal evolution. I endorse a holistic approach incorporating individuals, families and outside support systems.

I teach body relaxation and mindfulness techniques to increase attunement with one’s self and others when working with neurodiverse (Autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD) individuals who have experienced trauma. I am certified as an individual clinical trauma specialist (CCTS-I).

I encourage you to contact me for a consultation to explore your goals and clarify therapy expectations. Sessions may be provided in the home or at the office depending on your needs. I look forward to assisting you on the next step of your journey!
