Mary Kading, LMSW

Many years ago, I made the choice to pursue a degree in social work driven by a sincere desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. After nearly a decade, my perspective has evolved, revealing that the most effective way to assist others is by empowering them to discover their true potential. In my role as your therapist, my primary objective revolves around guiding you and imparting skills that will aid you on your life's journey.

I employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as formal frameworks in my practice. These are supplemented by mindfulness techniques, positive psychology principles, and supportive therapy. My emphasis is on providing guidance rather than direct leadership, and while I possess the capability to work with various diagnoses—including but not limited to generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, and borderline personality disorder—my focus extends beyond mere diagnostic labels.

Witnessing individuals experience personal growth, attain autonomy, and embrace empowerment is the driving force behind my enduring passion for this profession. My commitment to my work remains unwavering. I am eager to extend my assistance to you on your journey. Looking forward to our forthcoming meeting.
