Emma Matthys, LAC-T

As a mental health clinician, I am here to support individuals with counseling services through a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance. I value human connection and identifying diverse methods used for connection considering the unique qualities of each person. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have a variety of emotional, behavioral, and or cognitive needs. I focus on topics such as depression, anxiety, phase of life transitions and challenges, LGBTQ+, careers, ADHD, trauma, grief/loss, and relationship distress.

I am a professional who adopts a blended approach of using diverse therapeutic tools to create individualized treatments for each individual, couple, or family. I primarily use therapeutic approaches such as person-centered, mindfulness, talk therapy, gestalt, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

I encourage healthy healing and validate finding the right therapist can be challenging at times. Please reach out today with any questions and to unlock the potential of healing we can accomplish together.
