Rachel Sinex, LAC Intern
My passion for counseling is rooted in my belief that all individuals can thrive when they feel supported, seen, and valued. Counseling can help you to slow down, reflect on what matters most, and gain tools to help work through any difficulties, moving closer to your goals. As a counselor, I am here to walk alongside you as you work towards wellness. My primary goal is to facilitate a counseling experience that is rewarding, healing, supportive, and validating.
My approach is integrative and holistic. I will work with you to identify your many strengths and target areas of your life where you feel you need the most support. I draw from multiple modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. I specialize in working with individuals navigating neurodiversity, anxiety, body dissatisfaction, disordered eating, stress/burnout, and life transitions. I aim to tailor evidence-based approaches to your unique experiences and needs. I will take time to truly get to know you, including the ways your identities intersect with one another and shape your experiences in this world.
Reaching out for help is a huge step! If you feel that my approach may be a good fit for you, or if you have any questions, I invite you to reach out. It would be a privilege to accompany you on this new adventure.
