Zebunnessa Ahmed, LCSW

The greatest power we have is our ability to choose one thought over another. It’s not the situation that affects us, it’s our interpretation. Sometimes it’s hard to take control and begin the process of change, but we can work together to bring mental clarity, be present, and allow ourselves to experience life in a whole new light. There is resilience in us all and in our darkest moments we lose sight of our capabilities. No matter where you are in your journey, know there is always another way.

Approaching therapy in a holistic way allows us to focus on the whole person in their environment. My experience working with children and adolescents through Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, cognitive-behavior therapy, and DBT will help identify what is impacting you the most. Understanding the underlying issue will be the first step in becoming more mindful of your thoughts and environment.

By working together we can rediscover the strengths that will help you heal, grow, and empower you to move forward. The most important part of therapy is finding a therapist who aligns with your need and makes you feel heard. I invite you to contact me for a free consultation to discuss your goals and explore any questions you may have.
